GENERAL TERMS:
- MILES CLUB loyalty and customer reward programme of LAFASI MC, is a programme providing special benefits, offers and preferential services to members who have registered and participate in the MILES CLUB Programme.
- These terms and conditions of the MILES CLUB programme govern, among the other things, the legal relationship between the programme and the members, the method and procedure for participation, the manner in which points are collected and accordingly, the manner in which these points are redeemed.
- LAFASI MC reserves the right to unilaterally modify these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, at any time and without giving prior notice. In case of modification of the terms and conditions, LAFASI MC will notify members of the changes via the official website at www.lafasi.gr.
- Points are collected, kept and redeemed solely and exclusively in accordance with these terms and conditions, as in force from time to time.
- LAFASI MC has the right, unilaterally and without prior notice, to cancel points, special offers and membership where the rules on the proper operation of the MILES CLUB programme are violated.
- LAFASI MC reserves the right to periodically verify the proper use of the programme throughout the course of the member’s membership of the MILES CLUB programme. If a member violates any term of the MILES CLUB programme, LAFASI MC may, at its discretion, immediately exclude the member from any current or future offer, suspend or cancel membership of the programme and cancel all points collected in the context of the MILES CLUB programme. Any concession, exchange, forwarding or transfer of points from the member to any third party is expressly prohibited. Points that were not collected or kept in accordance with these terms and conditions are automatically void and cannot be redeemed. In this case, the corresponding points will be removed from the member’s account.
- LAFASI MC reserves the right to amend, extend or suspend any part of or the entire MILES CLUB programme, with immediate effect after notifying the members. In this case, the members shall be informed of the changes through the official website at www.lafasi.gr.
- LAFASI MC may suspend the operation the MILES CLUB programme, with immediate effect, if required to do so by law. If the operation of the programme is suspended, members will be notified of the changes through the official website at www.lafasi.gr.
- Members are obliged to correctly enter their personal information when creating a profile and to inform the MILES CLUB programme of any change in their personal information. If incorrect information is entered, LAFASI MC bears no liability whatsoever for any delay in providing or inability to provide any type of notification related to the MILES CLUB programme.
- Points have no commercial value and cannot under any circumstances be exchanged for money.
- Points earned on each trip are automatically credited to the member’s account within 24 hours after the valid boarding inspection process, provided that the membership card number was correctly entered when the trip was booked.
- Each member must present their MILES CLUB card at any checkpoint prior to every transaction concerning accumulation or redemption of points.
- Points from a ticket that forms part of a group reservation cannot be registered in the member’s account.
CONDITIONS FOR MEMBER REGISTRATION:
- Only natural persons over the age of 18 who register as users at our official website www.lafasi.gr are eligible to participate in the MILES CLUB programme.
- Legal entities and sole proprietorships are not eligible for membership.
- Participation in the MILES CLUB programme is strictly personal and cannot be transferred or assigned by the member to any third party.
- Upon completion of the registration to the MILES CLUB programme, each member will receive their personal digital card and the possibility to collect points on each of their trips on ferry ILIAS T of LAFASI MC. In order to complete registration with the MILES CLUB programme, each member must unreservedly accept the present Terms and Conditions, as in force.
- Participation in the MILES CLUB programme does not require you to have travelled before.
- Tickets purchased by MILES CLUB members solely through redemption of points (100% discount) do not earn points for the member’s account.
- The card is neither a credit nor a debit card. The use of the card shall always be accompanied by the cardholder’s national ID card or another form of identification, which the member must present upon request at any checkpoint. In order to guarantee the security of the transactions of members of the MILES CLUB programme, if a membership card is found to be used by another person, it will be retained by the relevant LAFASI MC representative or cancelled by the company.
- The membership card is the property of LAFASI MC and at any time may be automatically cancelled if it is found that the member does not meet the membership requirements or does not follow with the Terms and Conditions of the MILES CLUB.
- Each member is entitled to have only one MILES CLUB programme account. If there is a second account, LAFASI MC has the right to merge the accounts and transfer the points to the account on the higher level. Points given as a bonus for registering with the programme are counted only once.
- Termination of membership of the MILES CLUB programme requires a prior request sent by email.
HOW TO COLLECT POINTS:
- One point will be credited to the member’s account for every 1€ spent on tickets regarding ILIAS T trips. The calculation rate may be modified by LAFASI MC without prior notice.
- Requests to enter points from previous trips (during which the passenger was a member) can be made by the company, provided that one month has not passed since the date on which the trip took place.
- Provided the above term are complied with, it is recommended that each member keep ticket stubs until the points are credited in their account.
- Objections relating to the transactions involving the member’s account (collection and redemption of points must be submitted in writing to the Company within 30 days of the date on which the transaction was entered into.
HOW TO REDEEM POINTS:
- Members of the MILES CLUB programme can redeem their accumulated that are required in each category to obtain free tickets on the vessel ILIAS T subject to these Terms and Conditions.
- Points cannot be redeemed for parcels.
- Redemption may not be applicable on all available routes. The available routes on which points can be redeemed are freely determined by and at the discretion of LAFASI MC without prior notification of members.
- Free tickets issued by redeeming points are contracts for the transportation of persons and are subject to the same travel terms and conditions as tickets issued without redeeming points.
- Tickets obtained by redeeming points cannot be converted into open-date tickets.
